Since 2004, Naples Kayak Company has provided delivery, pickup or location centered rentals, as well as guided paddle tours from multiple launch points to explore. They offer guided eco-tours and fishing tours, and lessons in Skim Boarding, Kayak, SUP, Yoga, Surf Ski. The closest location to the hotel is situated on Venetian Bay, 5 minutes to the south of the hotel, where you can spot dolphins, birds and manatees. 10 minutes to the South in Loudermilk Park, you’ll find shaded areas, concession stands. About 15 minutes south of the hotel, their Hyatt House location on the Gordon River offers amazing vistas of Naples Bay. Rentals include safety equipment like a leash, life vest and whistle. Rental prices vary slightly from location to location and range from $30-40 for 2-3 hours. Guided tours are also reasonable and are tailored for many interests such as sunset birding and eco-touring. Custom tours and corporate discounts are also available for large groups.
If you’re headed North to see Bonita Springs’ parks and preserves, take an afternoon to visit Gnarly Harley Paddle. They’re an award-winning mobile full-service paddleboard company serving the Naples, Bonita Springs and Fort Myers area. They offer guide tours, family-friendly yoga classes and paddleboard rentals. Rates are $80 for a ½ day, $120 for a full day and $400 for 5 days. An introductory lesson and life vest are provided with each rental. Their guided tours launch from Little Hickory Island in Bonita Springs, about 20 minutes North of the hotel. Tours and lessons last from 2 to 4 hours and are available for groups or individuals. Explore the Gulf Coast’s open water, estuaries and mangrove forests on their Ultimate, Sunset and Shell & Snorkel tours. All will get you up-close with southwest Florida’s ecosystems and wildlife. Heading South to see the Everglades? Have a paddleboard excursion on your way and make a day of it. Florida Adventures and Rentals on Marco Island is less than an hour from the hotel and provides endless on-the-water possibilities near Ten Thousand Islands, including paddleboard rentals and tours. Grab a spot on one of their 2-4 hour eco-tours and explore Rookery Bay among mangrove tunnels, ocean wildlife and sea birds. Sunscreen, all gear and professional guide included. Paddleboards are available to rent for 2, 3, 4 and 24 hours and rates are $35, $40, $45 and $60, respectively. Weekly and monthly rates are quoted by phone. Free delivery is also provided to renters.
