Naples Grande Beach Resort is one of the most exciting new resorts in Florida and promises to be the region’s most sought after destination for all beachside escapes; from intimate family holidays and grand wedding celebrations to memorable conferences and events. Not surprisingly, our September debut has stirred up a great deal of excitement.  We’ll do our best to anticipate your questions here, but please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us for additional information.  We can’t wait to hear from you.

What is Happening and When?

Waldorf Astoria Naples will become the Naples Grande Beach Resort on September 9, 2014 following a landmark $18 million renovation that will transform the guest rooms and public areas, positioning the resort as the region’s premier resort destination.  Following their success repositioning other iconic, independent hotels and resorts the owners of the Naples Grande plan to create a resort that is truly distinctive and totally committed to creating uniquely authentic and deeply personal experiences for every guest.

The owners have created and currently manage a number of iconic upscale and luxury independent hotels including The New York Palace, The Revere in Boston, The London West Hollywood and the Cheeca Lodge in Islamorada.   They have a proven track record of creating hotel experiences that are uniquely memorable and highly prized by their guests.

When is the change happening?

The resort will continue to operate as Waldorf Astoria Naples until September 9, 2014 when the name will become the Naples Grande Beach Resort.

What are the plans for the future?

The owners plan to begin an $18 million renovation in late July with a completion date in early 2015. The vision for the property is to enhance all aspects of the guest experience and reposition Naples Grande Beach Resort as the premier resort destination in South Florida.  The renovation will coincide with enhancements to other aspects of the resort experience including new restaurant concepts, nature programs and family oriented activities.

How Will The Experience Change?

Our goal is to improve the current experience in every possible way.  Not only will guests enjoy beautifully renovated guest rooms and public areas, but they will also benefit from new restaurant concepts, resort programs and a revitalized spa and golf experience.  Guests can look forward to the same levels of exceptional service and personal attention they’ve enjoyed in the past.

Will the hotel remain open during the transition?

The hotel will remain open and fully operational without disruption during this transition period.  Waldorf Astoria remains fully committed to providing the highest standards of service in the months leading up to the transition and the new Naples Grande team has every intention of maintaining the overall guest experience following September 9.  Steps will be taken to minimize any disruptions caused by the renovation, which will happen in stages prior to the resort’s busiest season.
